Admission Procedure

Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm)

Eligibilty

  • Candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam from Madhya Pradesh Secondary board or any other board.
  • Candidates belonging to the general category must have scored at least 45% marks in their 10+2.
  • Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category will have to score at least 40% marks in their 10+2.
  • Candidates must have Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects in their 10+2.

Course structure

The duration of the course for D. Pharm shall be for 2 academic years.

Bachelor in Pharmacy (B. Pharm)

Eligibilty

  • Candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam from Madhya Pradesh Secondary board or any other board.
  • Candidates belonging to the general category must have scored at least 45% marks in their 10+2.
  • Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category will have to score at least 40% marks in their 10+2.
  • Candidates must have Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects in their 10+2.

Course structure

The duration of the course for B. Pharm shall extend over a period of eight semesters (four academic years).

Master in Pharmacy (M. Pharm)

Eligibilty

  • Candidates must have passed B. Pharm with minimum 55% marks from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India.

Course structure

The duration of the course for M. Pharm. shall extend over a period of four semesters (two academic years).

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D)

Eligibilty

Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D Program, whether full-time or part-time, shall have to possess requisite percentage of marks / Grade Point Average in qualifying examination as indicated below:

  • Masters Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks/B+ grade (SC/ST and physically challenged/disabled candidates will get 5% relaxation in qualifying exam).
  • Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination but their results are still awaited, can appear in the entrance test but they will have to submit the original certificates of the qualifying examination before the commencement of the course work, otherwise their admission will be cancelled.
  • Foreign/NRI applicants/Applicants with a Masters’ degree from a Foreign University must apply with an equivalence certificate along with the Online Application Form.

Course structure

The duration of the course for Ph. D is 3 years (minimum) and may be extended up to 6 years (maximum).
