Th is paper deals with the micro morphological studies carried out on the leaves of Plectranthus amboinicus one of the WHO accepted parameter for identifi cation of medicinal plants. For the better understanding of structural details ScanningElectron Microscopy (SEM) also employed.Key words: Coleus amboinicus, Coleus aromaticus, micro morphology, Plectranthus amboinicus, scanning electron microscopy
