Abstract

Introduction: Murakkab drugs of Unani medicine has been an important aspect of disease treatment since antiquity. Physicians prepared different formulations for various diseases. Jawarish Jalinoos is an Unani polyherbal formulation listed under the Majooniath category in the National Formulary of Unani Medicine, Part-I. It has a long history of traditional use for the management of several disorders related to gastrointestinal, cardiac, kidney, metabolism, and general health.
